Atkins, VA – August 18, 2009 The TEDS Consortium, a dynamic collaborative forum of human capital
experts from over a dozen world-class companies, has two new members, Qwest , headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and Mountain States Health Alliance , headquartered in Johnson City, Tennessee. These two companies, recognized as leaders in their respective industries, were unanimously voted into the organization following the Consortium's summer meeting. The meeting was hosted by TEDS, Inc. in their Atkins, Virginia Corporate Education Center August 12 th and 13 th . The voting results were announced today.

Founded in 1992, the TEDS Consortium is the only organization of its kind. It is dedicated to the continuous innovation and improvement of TEDS' enterprise-wide talent management solutions. The Consortium plays an essential role in reviewing and upgrading TEDS' product functionalities, recommending the creation of new talent management products and services, and accelerating product development. By previewing advances in TEDS' talent management products, Consortium members can more effectively plan for upgrades and expansions within their own enterprises. However, all organizations that use TEDS benefit from the Consortium's vision and recommendations. The Consortium meets twice a year.

Among the participants in the summer meeting were Boston University Corporate Education Center , Dominion, Eastman Che mical, Norfolk Southern, Nortel , Ohio Child Welfare, Philips Healthcare, Sandia National Laboratories, Steelcase, Verizon and TEDS. Qwest and Mountain States Health Alliance attended the meeting as guests and candidates for membership.

TEDS President and CEO, Joseph F. “ Joe ” Ellis welcomed Consortium members and guests to the meeting. “We are especially proud to have representatives from Mountain States and Qwest at this meeting,” he said. “Although Qwest has been a TEDS customer since 2000, they recently made our Learning Management System their corporate-wide LMS system for all divisions, employees and partners. TEDS manages 7,650 active courses at Qwest and tracked a quarter-million training completions in just the first half of 2009.”

“Mountain States Health Alliance is recognized as one of the most progressive, visionary and technologically advanced healthcare systems in the country,” Joe stated. “They will bring their unique vision of talent management to the Consortium as will Qwest.”

Consortium members evaluated and critiqued the meeting in post-event surveys. The highest rated sessions were a demonstration of Workforce Management, review of the new TEDS user interface - which was unveiled on Wednesday, CEO Joe Ellis's presentation on future development, and peer information sharing.
